This weekend was the Fiji Day long weekend- and the annual PSFC Conference for uni students from all campuses. There were about 70 students and Tony spoke from 2 Timothy on Going for Gold. Good weather, good fellowship, good food, little sleep and lots of fun!

As usual these holidays, Hannah had to fly back to Sydney for her dental appointment. She then flew back with Nanny, Grandad and Uncle Pete who treated us all to a week at a resort. It was the most beautiful weather all week, very relaxing...and most importantly, Tim slept like a champ! Here are a few snaps.

Tim loving the cold pool water...not!

Early morning cuddles.

The girls getting their henna tattoos.

Bonding with Uncle Pete.

The excitement level has been running high with this years Olympics. Fiji won its first EVER medal and it was GOLD!!! All thanks to the Fiji 7's rugby team and their coach Ben Ryan. People were crying and yelling in the streets, hugging each other, cars tooting, faces painted etc... and that was before they even landed back in Fiji for the street parade! It was really fun to be part of such a huge thing for Fiji -here are a few pics of all the action.
Waiting for the team to come past our house.
Buddy not sure what all the fuss is about.
Excitement building!
SO loud and fun.
They finally arrived yay!!
Our own medal tally at home
My birthday happened to be on the same day AND it was a public holiday -so double the fun!
