Hannah only had a couple of night to recover from her Labasa trip before she had to race around organising her 18th party. She worked hard to make it what she wanted- and was super fun!

Last week Hannah had the opportunity to go to another island called Labasa to play netball in the National Championships. Her and 25 other kids from her school met up at 3am, hopped on a bus, then a boat, then another bus and about 9 hours later were in Labasa. The matches began the next day. They didn't make it to the finals but had a fantastic time playing, staying in a shared house together and generally just enjoying their friendships for 5 days.

Outside of the hospital.

Only a few days after we had been back in Suva, poor Timmy ended up in hospital. Tony found him having convulsions at 5am one morning and rushed him up to the hospital where they gave him anti-fitting medication. He then had a lumbar puncture to rule out meningitis, which was negative thankfully. His high temperature indicated infection which they assumed was a UTI, so he stayed in for 5 days on an iv drip for antibiotics. Poor little thing.

It wasn't the prettiest of hospitals, but the staff were lovely and we had lots of Christian groups come through with presents, singing, prayers and lots of reminders that God is the greatest and only real healer there is. This sign was stuck on the wall above his bed, which was very comforting.
Another exciting part of our trip to Sydney was that Hannah's school were going to be there for an Art/ Drama excursion. They got to stay at a hotel in the city and go to plays, art galleries, Nida workshops, shopping and even Luna Park! Hannah loved experiencing Sydney with her Fiji friends, most of whom had never been before.

Once again this year, we went back to Sydney for home assignment-this time, The Lakes Church at the central coast. It is such a great church and we loved our time there and meeting some of the wonderful people.
During the trip, we also enjoyed a stack of cousin time (always the highlight), trips to doctors, orthodontists, thai restaurants and the other essentials. Another fun and tiring trip and we are so thankful to be able to do them, given Fiji is so close.

Fun at Putney Park and bowling at Macquarie.

Struggling to maintain the pace of Sydney life!

An early birthday celebration for Tony, Sam and Hannah.

Keeping warm in Sydney winter.

Happy to be getting back to the warmth of Suva!

The International School put on their annual school production, which was Alice In Wonderland this year. Hannah had 2 parts- Alice's sister and also a flower. Soph was behind the scenes doing the set design. They both did a superb job and it was alot of fun to watch.

Little Timmy boy turned 2 on June 17 yay!! We did his favourite things -walking down near the water, eating cake, watching the Wiggles and best of all -riding in the shopping trolley while passing the fans. Does not get better than that ha! Here are some photos..

Our church got a new full time pastor. His name is Tuks and he is a great and godly man who we are very thankful for .Here is a picture from his Induction.

Soon after mum and dad left, Ethan stepped on broken glass(our water bottle fell out of the fridge and smashed). We took him to the doctor and were glad to hear that he didn't need stitches. Meanwhile we realised he couldn't move the toe that was badly cut. Cut tendons can't be operated on in Fiji, so we had to fly him back to Sydney for the surgery. Sadly he got dengue fever in the meantime, so the surgery was delayed, by which time it was too late to operate on such a small toe. So, he;ll never move that toe again, but can still play soccer etc.. He ended up staying in Aus for 3 months and enjoyed some great time with family, church youth groups and new friends.

Packing to go.

Taller than Uncle Pete!!
