Long time, no write!

Hi again - haven't been around much lately, but I guess being back in Sydney we don't have to document everything for the grandparents as we can see them in the flesh! Its been a flurry of activity during our time of deputation (visiting churches to talk about our mission to Fiji) and , being a huge introvert, all I want to do is lie on the couch and watch telly to recover. It has been fun and encouraging in lots of ways, but will also be good when its over and we can actually get on with the stuff we have spent so long talking about.

A nice interruption to it all was my dad's birthday and Ethans birthday. We had a very excited little birthday boy....and Ethan enjoyed it too! ha,ha! We prefer to refer to it as The Birthday Festival here because it seems to stretch out way beyond the day. Anyway lots of fun was had as the pictures show. First though, a couple of pics from our trip to Vaucluse House/ Nielsen Park....enjoying our favourite parts of Sydney while we can!

    Who is going to take care of the mice when you go to Fiji???

    Yes good question Alison! The conditions for getting them were that it was a 3 month commitment abd they were not being smuggled onto the plane -so Ethans job is to find the new owners. He tells us the kids at school are falling over each other to voluteer...whether their parents share their enthusiasm or not??....ha! How are you guys going? We are having dinner with the Stedmans on Sat night and they have been filling us in -as well as your blog. We pray regularly for all of you xxx

    I'm glad my kids don't mix with yours otherwise they'd put their hands up for the mice and I would not be keen. Have fun on Saturday night.
